3rd Saturday of the month @ 7:00 p.m.
Koinonia is a Greek word used over 20 times in the Scriptures meaning fellowship, sharing in common, communion. The first occurrence of koinonia may be found in Acts 2:42. “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer”. It is through Christian fellowship that we learn to encourage, support, educate and love one another in order to build one another up in our faith, knowledge and service to Him.
Acts 2 Koinonia Group has chosen it’s name and purpose based on the scripture text above. We are a group who are sharing with one another that special fellowship centered around seeking through the power of the Holy Spirit to know the Lord.
We accomplish this through study of scripture, through prayer, through relationship with one another and yes, “breaking of bread” together. We enjoy one another and have developed relationships which allow us to share moments of joy, fear, sadness, need, comfort and support.
We currently are involved in the study and discussion of The Augsburg Confession. Our time together always and foremost is centered around the Scriptures followed by prayer time and then fellowship and refreshments. Acts 2 meets once monthly the 3rd Saturday of the month at 7:00 p.m. This is a very casual and relaxed evening and there is always an invitation to join us.

Wednesday Evenings @ 7:30
The Sanctuary Praise Choir is open to everyone (high school and up) who enjoys singing praises to the Lord! Under the direction of Beth Markel and Amy Wieting, rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7:30 PM – 8:30 pm, August through May, with a recess in the summer. Typically, we sing approximately twice a month for Sunday worship services, plus special services during Advent and Lent. Last Easter, we performed a cantata entitled "The Colors of Easter" using children, artists, choir, flute and soloists.
We are a small group within the church, that seeks to support all members and their friends and family by lifting them up in prayer. We gather together for fellowship and to welcome new members in the fall, Christmas and spring time. New members may join at any time. You are invited to lift your voice with us!
